Inner-edge tire wear is the most common Tesla complaint we see — and the most expensive one to ignore. EV tires cost real money, and a heavy car with instant torque wears them fast when the alignment drifts. We set it right and balance the wheels properly.
A Tesla's battery makes it heavy, and electric motors deliver torque instantly. Both load the tires harder than a comparable gas car. When the alignment drifts even slightly — after a pothole, a curb, or just normal wear — the inner edge of the tire takes the punishment. It often looks fine from the outside until the inner shoulder is down to the cords.
The fix is simple and inexpensive compared with tires: a proper alignment, checked regularly. We set every corner to specification on Hunter equipment, check the inner edges of your tires, and balance wheels properly — because a heavy car is unforgiving of a lazy balance.
The classic Tesla wear pattern. Run your hand along the inside shoulder — if it's smooth or uneven compared with the middle, alignment is the likely cause.
A pull on a straight road usually means alignment, sometimes tire pressure or a worn part. We check all three.
If the wheel sits crooked while driving straight, the alignment is off — common after a curb or pothole hit.
Often wheel balance or a bent wheel. Road force balancing finds problems a standard balancer misses.
New EV tires are expensive. Aligning the car when they go on protects them from day one.
Lowering springs and coilovers change geometry. Alignment needs to be set for how the car actually sits now.
We measure and adjust camber and toe at each corner on Hunter equipment, to Tesla's specification for your model — or to a sensible specification for a lowered car.
Some Teslas, especially lowered ones, run more negative camber than is ideal for street tire life. On cars where it can be adjusted — sometimes with aftermarket parts — we can bring it back toward a setting that wears tires more evenly.
A standard balancer spins the wheel freely. Road force balancing presses a roller against the tire to simulate the car's weight, finding tire and wheel issues that cause vibration on heavy cars.
We mount and balance tires on Tesla wheels, including larger performance wheels, carefully — no scratched rims, no guesswork on balance.
If a control arm or link is worn, an alignment won't hold. We check the suspension first and tell you if something needs replacing before we align.
Dynasty has raced for more than twenty years, and we still compete across different series. On a race car, alignment and corner weights decide how the car handles and how long the tires last — so we measure and set geometry constantly.
That's why a Tesla alignment here is precise, not a quick toe-set. We set the car to spec, check the tires, and make sure it tracks straight and wears evenly.

Alignment is inexpensive next to a set of EV tires — but tires themselves aren't. If you'd rather spread the cost over time, we work with two financing partners — one for good credit with 6-month 0% promotional financing, one for income-based approval with no credit pull.
