Owning a Tesla doesn't mean every repair has to go through the service center. Dynasty Automotive handles the mechanical side of Tesla ownership in Orlando β suspension, brakes, alignment, tires, A/C, cooling and diagnostics β on Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y.
Electric drivetrains removed the oil changes, spark plugs and exhaust work β and that's genuinely fewer trips to a shop. What they didn't remove is the rest of the car. A Tesla still rides on control arms and bushings, still wears bearings, still puts brake fluid through Florida humidity, still runs an air conditioning system, still has a cooling loop, and still depends on a 12-volt or low-voltage system that eventually fails like any other.
Those are the jobs Orlando Tesla owners end up waiting weeks for. They are also, mechanically, the work Dynasty has been doing for twenty years. A control arm bushing behaves the same whether the torque came from a combustion engine or an electric motor β though the Tesla's weight and instant torque tend to find the worn one sooner.
Plenty of shops imply they can do everything on an EV. We'd rather tell you exactly where the line is before you drive across town.
General diagnostics, mechanical repairs, suspension, steering, brakes, alignment, tires, A/C, cooling-system concerns, low-voltage electrical issues, maintenance, and certain EV-related diagnostic procedures.
We can scan and diagnose supported high-voltage system faults and determine the likely area of concern. What we do not advertise is internal battery-pack repair, battery cell or module replacement, inverter repair, or internal drive-unit repair. Manufacturer-restricted programming, security access, or certain high-voltage repairs may require Tesla or the manufacturer.
The practical version: bring us the car, we find out what's actually wrong, and we tell you plainly whether it's ours to fix or whether it belongs at Tesla. A diagnosis is useful either way β walking into a service appointment knowing what you're dealing with beats walking in with a symptom.
Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y β daily drivers, high-mileage rideshare cars, and modified builds.
Control arms, lateral links, bushings, ball joints, wheel bearings, shocks and related hardware. Alignment included as part of the job, not billed as an afterthought.
Hunter equipment, every corner set to tolerance. Stock specification or adjusted for lowered and modified cars.
Mount, balance and road force balancing. EV tires are expensive and heavy cars are unforgiving of a lazy balance β we measure rather than eyeball it.
Pads, rotors, caliper service and brake fluid. Regenerative braking changes how these parts wear and what actually fails on them.
Cabin cooling concerns, refrigerant service and climate system diagnosis β the system Florida punishes hardest.
Coolant loop concerns, leaks and thermal-related fault diagnosis on supported systems.
Noises, vibrations, handling complaints, low-voltage electrical faults and warning messages β diagnosed properly, not guessed at.
Brake fluid, cabin filters, tire rotation, suspension and underbody inspection. The quiet items that keep a used Tesla from becoming a project.
Coilovers, lowering springs, aftermarket wheels and spacers. We set the car up for how it's actually built and driven.
Depending on model, mileage, tires and how the car has been driven, these are the complaints we see most often.
Alignment is the single highest-value service a Tesla owner can stay on top of, and it's the one most often skipped. A battery pack puts serious mass low in the chassis. Electric motors deliver torque the instant you ask for it. Together they load suspension components and tire shoulders harder than the same driving would in a comparable gas car β and EV-rated tires are not cheap to replace early.
Alignment is also where our race side genuinely applies. We run four-corner scales, corner-balance race cars, and set geometry on lowered and adjustable suspension as routine work. Setting a Tesla to specification β or to a sensible specification for a car that's been lowered β is ordinary here rather than an unusual request.
Including Performance and Long Range variants, and cars running aftermarket suspension or wheels.
This is a flat diagnostic fee — not our hourly labor rate. It covers finding the fault. Any repair is quoted separately, and nothing gets done until you approve it.
BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, and hybrid/EV platforms including Tesla. Factory-level scan tools and the experience to read what they actually report.
Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, Corvette, and everything else in the bay. Same process, same equipment, same standard.
Most shops start the clock at one hour and keep billing. Level One includes the first two. Specialized testing beyond that — compression, smoke, or UV leak detection — is discussed and approved before we proceed.
How it works
1. We document your concern, inspect the vehicle, and run a computer diagnostic scan where needed.
2. We tell you what's wrong, what it costs to fix, and what can wait.
3. You decide. Repair pricing is quoted separately and never starts without your approval.
A proper diagnosis is the cheapest part of any repair. Guessing is what gets expensive — parts replaced that didn't need replacing, and a car that comes back with the same fault.
Dynasty has been an Orlando shop since 2005, built around European and performance work and around a race program we actually run. Alignment, suspension setup, corner balancing and diagnostics are the core of what we do all week β which happens to map almost exactly onto what a Tesla needs from an independent shop.
You also get the part that has nothing to do with equipment: a quote before work starts, a person who explains what was found, and an honest answer when the repair isn't ours to do. We're on E Colonial just past Semoran, open Monday through Saturday from 9 to 6, and you can drop the car before we open if that's easier β park outside the gate on our lot frontage and leave the keys in the drop box mounted outside the fence.
Yes, for most of what a Tesla actually needs over its life. Suspension, steering, brakes, alignment, tires, A/C, cooling system, low-voltage electrical and general diagnostics are ordinary mechanical work, and an independent shop with the right equipment can perform them. Manufacturer-restricted programming, security access and certain high-voltage repairs still require Tesla.
They benefit from them more than most cars. Significant battery weight sits low in the chassis and torque arrives instantly, and inner-edge tire wear is the usual result when alignment drifts out of specification. Worth checking when you see uneven wear, after any suspension work, and after a hard pothole hit β a set of EV-rated tires costs considerably more than an alignment.
Yes. Control arms, lateral links, bushings, ball joints, wheel bearings, shocks and related hardware are standard work here, and we align the car afterward as part of the job rather than sending you somewhere else to finish it.
Yes, just differently than a gas car. Regenerative braking means the friction brakes do less work, so pads often last a long time while calipers, slides and hardware seize or corrode from underuse in Florida humidity. Brake fluid also absorbs moisture on a time basis regardless of how many miles you've driven.
Yes. Lowering changes suspension geometry and tire wear patterns, and a lowered car set to stock numbers usually still wears tires badly. We align to suit how the car is actually built and driven, which is the same approach we take with lowered European and track cars.
We do not advertise internal battery-pack repair, battery cell or module replacement, inverter repair, or internal drive-unit repair. We can scan and diagnose supported high-voltage faults and identify the likely area of concern, then tell you plainly whether the repair belongs here or with Tesla.
